Quick Updates: Countries

Hello Hackers! A quick update on how to participate if you can’t find your country when you register. 

While this competition is open to everyone who is not a resident of this small list of countries (Brazil, Quebec, Russia, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria), different API providers may have different requirements for what countries they support.

Access Replicate or Snowflake Cortex APIs

Hey participants! 

For entries using the Arctic Instruct model series, entrants are encouraged to leverage one of two APIs: Replicate or Snowflake Cortex.

  • Entrants are encouraged to sign up for a Snowflake free trial which will grant access to Arctic Instruct via Cortex for free until June 2024. 
  • Entrants will receive $50 worth of credits (2.5 million tokens) to the Replicate platform by filling in this form.

      • Plan for a 2-5 day turnaround on credits granted. Credits are 1 time use only.

      • NOTE: Additional charges incurred by the Entrant for the use of Snowflake or Replicate products are
